Mara rolled her eyes and made the sign of the cross. Worst exam yet, she fumed as she stood up and delivered her paper to the tall robust and unsmiling Mr Robert. Then she scanned the tense hall before walking down the aisle and out the door. She smiled when she saw Theodora looking out for her. She joined her and both of them embraced and whimpered. Leo soon joined them. A look in one another's eyes was enough to pass the message; the exam had been tough. "Does anyone care for ice cream?" Leo asked suddenly. Then their faces lit up and they strolled to the back of FASA hall where an icecream bicycle was standing near the popcorn box. "You're the best, Leo! FINAL EPISODE

Did the boss ever tell you she likes pictures, because she does.

"Ooh. Redeemed, let's make faces. One more, one more!" Nono said as she changed poses.

Chizzy took the seventy-seventh picture and finally, Nono agreed that it was enough.

"Thanks, Chizzy darling," Nono said and gave her a peck. Then she and Redeemed looked at the pictures.

"Awwwn," Nono said as she flipped to a certain picture where her back was turned to the camera and her hand was raised in a peace sign.

"I don't like it," said Redeemed for her own face was squeezed and her eyes were half shut.

"Why not? Can't you see how cool I look?" Nono said and starred the picture.

"Whatever. Wait. This one. You look really cute. Awwwn," said Redeemed.

"Thanks," Nono beamed, "I told you I was the fairest of them all."

"And me?"

"Ehh, you're just there."

Redeemed hit her playfully and Nono laughed.

"Do you know who the fairest of boys is? Caleb," said Redeemed in a thoughtful whisper.

"Urgh! Redeemed, not now. I don't want to hear about your love for Caleb."

"I told you before. I just admire him," said Redeemed.

"Take it from me, those feelings are deeper," Nono said and they headed towards the  Chinua Achebe courtyard.

"Says the girl who is going to see him now," said Redeemed with an amused smile.

"Strictly for business matters," Nono said and took a selfie with the statue in the courtyard. "Bye, Chinua," she said and climbed down the pedestal to stand beside Redeemed who was gazing at her intently.

"What?" Nono asked and returned Redeemed's stare.

"Nothing. It's just that when I look into your eyes," she inched closer and Nono inched backwards, "I see... Love! You two will make a great couple."

"Dey play," said Nono.

"I know it. Besides, I noticed you changed his contact name from snob to..."

"Redeemed!" Nono hushed her and put her hand over her mouth. Then she smiled at some of her course mates as they passed. Mjay, the guy that had asked her out was among them. "Hey, fam. What's up, Mjay? Are we cool?"

"Yeah, we are," Mjay replied and gave her a friendly knuckle. When they had left, Redeemed pulled Nono's hand off her face and said, "How can you ask him that after you laughed in his face?"

"He's a guy. Guys don't hold grudges," Nono replied.

"Bye, Redeemed. I better go or else Snob will call me and give me tutoring on the essence of punctuality,"said Nono.

"Bye, Nono," she said and they hugged. Redeemed whispered quickly, "Have a nice date." Then she rushed off with a laugh before Nono could react.

"Hello, Nono," Caleb greeted with a smile on meeting her.

"Caleb, sup? Here it is," Nono said and handed him a file.

"Thanks," he said.

Together, they left for the lecturer's office to submit their class list and receive any instructions concerning the forthcoming exam.

"Mmh! I can't wait for History exam already," Nono exclaimed as they left the office.

"You won't wait long. It's our first paper," Caleb replied.

"Then, it's bye bye history, forever," Nono said excitedly.

"You know, history is still an elective for mass com next semester," Caleb pointed out.

"I will dodge it with passion, even if I have to do ELS," Nono declared and Caleb laughed at her reaction.

"Well, I would really like it if you chose History again," Caleb said reluctantly as he put his hands in his pocket. He gazed at her pretty face and smiled.

"Wait, what?" Nono stopped and looked at him suspiciously. He grinned. "Oh, I see. Well, I'm happy to know you admire me," Nono said while stifling a laugh.

"It's so I can see Redeemed. I know she'll follow you," Caleb added and Nono grimaced.

"Quit it," Nono said and Caleb laughed.

They had reached the junction that led to First bank. Nono was about to go to her home in staff quarters when she spotted two people opposite the library, holding hands. She rushed to meet them and a surprised Caleb followed her.

"Hello, Noah!" Nono waved excitedly.

Noah remembered Dr Griffin's daughter and smiled brightly. "Nono. Good to see you!"

"Is that Miss Chenka? She's even more beautiful than I imagined. Congratulations, ma'am," Nono said cutely and Chenka gave her a hug and a "Thank you, love. I'm so excited to meet Dr Griffin's daughter. You know, I never knew he had such a beautiful happy angel."

Nono beamed. She remembered Caleb when Noah greeted him, "What's up, bro?"

Nono woke up from her admiration of Noah and Chenka immediately. "Wait. What did you call him?" she asked in alarm.

"Bro," Noah replied.

Then it hit Nono. She had never bothered to find out Caleb's last name. To her, he was Caleb or Snob.

"You're Caleb Ekrong?" Nono nearly cried.

"Yeah. My brother," said Noah.

"You have a brother?" Nono cried.
